Qualifications:

Graduate students matriculated in a graduate program by __________ 20_____, and undergraduates accepted in a graduate program for at least one year as of ____________ 20_____, are eligible Officers, directors, and substantial contributors of Makol Ariik Development foundation and their families are not eligible for any of these awards.  Recipients of other major awards offered by the University they attend (e.g. tuition bearing assistantships, traineeships, or fellowships) cannot simultaneously hold one of these awards.

Evaluation criteria:

The awards are made on a competitive basis.  The scholarship committee places primary emphasis on proven and potential scholarship as documented by grades, test scores, recommendations, scholarly activities, and other achievements.  The following categories are used in evaluating applications: academic aptitude and achievement, personal statement, and recommendations. In addition, demonstrated financial need is considered.

To be considered for these awards applicants should:

• Complete and submit the attached scholarship application.
• Provide copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
• Provide copies of standardized test scores, if available.
• Submit three letters of recommendation. (Copies acceptable)
• Submit one set of the above materials to:
